Today was an exceptionally clear day in Cairo, where the the haze and the dust limit visiblity. But today you could clearly see the Pyramids at Giza from my 11th floor hotel room.It is amazing to think that the Pyramids were the tallest structures built by humans until the Eiffel Tower was built in Paris in 1898!
